The Mission of the Preston Castle Foundation is to preserve, rehabilitate, and utilize the historic Preston Castle site.

2. To inspire and educate people through sharing the Castle's rich cultural and social history.
3. To showcase historical impacts to the to the Ione/Amador County area.
4. To provide cultural, historical, educational and special events.
5. To provide a focal point and facilities for community development in the Ione/Amador County Area.
